Is Your Child's Friend Imaginary or A Spirit That Has Passed? Part 1

My great niece has a friend named Jackie that her mommy can’t see. If you’re thinking how cute she has an imaginary friend just like other kids, you would be wrong. Jackie is a spirit of a young child that has passed. Jackie had a very hard life with a mother that was physically abusive. We know this because Jasmyne told us the story many times. Did we ever worry about her thinking she saw a spirit? No, because we knew she did and always encouraged her to befriend it. We felt Jackie needed a good friend like Jasmyne to help her get passed her terrible childhood and be able to see not all Mommies’ were like hers. I will be asking Jasmyne, and her mother, if she would like to write something about Jackie for my blog and perhaps give us her point of view about seeing spirits. If they agree to do this, I will be adding it as soon as I receive it.

When my own grandson was about seven years old, he told me about his past life. We were having pizza with a few other children who thought it would be a good idea if their parents allowed them to eat pizza anytime they wanted. I was trying to explain to them why they couldn’t just eat pizza and told them they would understand when they became parents. At that time, my grandson told me he knew what it was like to be a parent because when he was here before he had children of his own. Later that day, he again told me and his Dad how he had lived here before and had children. When we ask where those children were now, he said he didn’t know because they were already grown up and quite old when he passed at a very old age.

Last year, my grandson told me all about a conversation he had with an African American man named Justin. The man came to Rowan one night in his mommy’s mirror. He told me all about the conversation they had and how much he enjoyed talking to Justin. He then said his mom came in the room and told him it was time for bed, and asked who he was talking to when she came in the room. He explained about Justin and she just told him to tell his friend he had to go to bed now. He said they exchanged a nice farewell and then he went to sleep. He wasn’t afraid of Justin, nor was he worried about telling us. He knew Justin was a spirit and wasn’t there to harm him. I will also be asking my grandson and his parents if he would like to share his experiences here, and will post it when if they agree.

Are these two children different from many others that have imaginary friends? Do your own children have an imaginary friend that makes you wonder if the child can actually see someone? Does your baby often seem to be laughing or smiling at something or someone only they can see?
Do people tell you your child is different and should see a counselor? I hope in the next few articles I can help you better understand there is nothing wrong with your child, it is a common occurrence for children to be able to physically see spirits that have crossed. Often babies and small children are actually seeing spirits because they still have innocence.

Before I go any further, I understand that for some this all goes against their religious beliefs. Many may also think we are wrong to encourage our children to talk with the spirits, and I would never want to impose my own beliefs on you, just ask that you have an open mind when reading my article. For our family, this is nothing new, but has been something we were aware of most of our lives. My maternal great grandmother, as well as my paternal grandmother were both healers and continued helping people even in a time when they were labeled as evil. It’s your choice to read this article, as it’s your choice to believe or not that your own children may actually be communicating with spirits. I would just like to give some insight to those that are questioning if this may be happening with your child.

This gift can be quite unsettling for both the parents and the children. My hope is to give you, the parent, a little guidance to better understand what your child is dealing with and how you can help them. While I can give you advice, it’s truly your decision on the best path to take for your child.

For many children, they are afraid to tell anyone or talk about what they see for fear of people thinking they are weird or crazy. They aren’t comfortable talking to their parents or may not be sure of the reaction they will get if their friends find out. Most kids want to fit in with the rest, not feel like an outsider or different because of their experiences, so they often never speak about it to anyone. Instead, they may withdraw into themselves or just try to deal with it on their own. They need to feel they have a safe place to discuss this without being made feel like it’s wrong or not really happening. You, as the parent, will need to decide if you can be that safe place for them. If you think as the parent, this is a tough thing to deal with, try to put yourself into the child’s place and understand how hard it is for them.

This is just the beginning of several articles I will be writing to better help you and your child. Be sure to bookmark this blog to read more in the next few weeks.

Blessings,
Ms. Yvonne

How Do I Pick The Right Psychic Reader? Part 5

This article will give you a little more insight to picking the right reader for you. I’m going to cover two topics that I am more familiar with, as these are the types of readings I do on a daily basis.

PSYCHIC READING
Many that do psychic readings do them entirely on the energy they draw from you. While others, like myself, may use different types of divination tools to help guide them with the reading. I often use the tarot, pendulum or angel cards to start the reading. These tools may help me to pick up on your energy, allowing me to give you a better reading. At other times, I sense your energy right from the start, and the reading just flows. This type of reading allows for many different types of questions, although it seems like most want to know about their love life.

When I do a straight psychic reading without tools, I’m often asked how I know what I’m getting. I wish I could explain it better than just saying I just know, but the truth is, I just know. Sometimes I hear or see things that need to be part of the message, other times it just appears in my head as part of the reading. If there are others reading this blog that do only psychic readings and can explain it better, I hope you’ll post your comments to help better explain how this type of reading is done for you.

TAROT CARD READING

I realize I already covered this in a previous article, but there was more I'd like to add. If this seems a little redundant, it's only because these areas were brought to me for more information.
This type of reading is done using a deck of tarot cards, seems obvious doesn’t it? While some tarot readers do not feel they are psychic, I feel they have some degree or they wouldn’t be able to give such good readings. If you choose to have a tarot reading, the first thing you should remember is while each card has a meaning, the meaning can change depending on where the card lies in the spread and also the cards that surround them. There are also many different decks of cards available, and each reader generally picks the deck they feel most comfortable using.

I’ve often heard people remark it can’t be that hard to just memorize or read the meanings of the cards from a book. To them I say, reading the tarot is so much more and while it can be learned from a book, there is so much more you’ll need to know. One card can have many different outcomes depending on where it lands in a spread. Let me give you an example of how one card can affect your outcome.

For this example, I use the ten of cups, which can be a great card if it falls for your outcome in an upright position. In this position, it means happiness, abundance, and good things in regards to your family. If it is in the reverse position, it will then mean unhappiness, sorrow, sadness and loss. Where it to fall in the past, even upright, it means that was the way things were before, but may have changed depending on the surrounding cards. While these simple meanings can be found in a book, you still need to know how it is affected by the other cards in the spread.

When I, as well as most readers, do a spread, we don’t just see the individual cards, but a story emerge from them. For me, I use the cards as a tool to start the reading, but usually use my own abilities to read your energy as well. I’m often asked for time frames when I give a reading and while I don’t like to do this, sometimes its part of the reading and needs to be said. The reason most readers don’t like giving time frames is because your free will or that of others can change the timing and outcome of the reading.

I often use the pendulum for dowsing for lost items, but I don’t usually offer this as part of my service. It’s also a good way to get a short yes or no answer to simple questions. I find most people don’t just want a yes or no, but want the answer explained in detail. For this type of questions I usually use the pendulum to get the answer, then use my own ability or the aid of the tarot to get the details.

Again, please remember, the outcome of your situation depends on your free will or the free will of others involved in your life. The outcome is never set in stone, but should be used as a guide line for your future. If you don’t like the outcome, you and only you can change it. You should choose an expert you feel comfortable reading for you. I always tell my clients if at any time they feel uncomfortable, just tell me and we will stop the reading.

There was a question posted recently on the forum of a site I’m currently doing readings asking how much the age of the reader matters when clients are looking for an expert. My personal opinion is that while some may prefer to seek older experts, the age is really insignificant. You should really pick the expert that best picks up on your personal energy allowing them to give you an accurate reading. How you choose the expert is entirely up to you, but keep in mind while you think you are choosing the reader, the choice is usually made for you. I find most people are drawn to someone, rather than just choosing a random reader.

To get the best out of any type of reading, you need to go into it with the understanding that while the message may not be exactly what you wanted to hear, it is truly the message you need to hear. If you’re not open to hearing the truth in your reading, then it really isn’t going to be a good reading for you. If you only want the reader to tell you what you want to hear, rather than the truth, then save your money and write your own fairy tale.

One more subject I would like to bring up and will be doing a more detailed article soon is spell casting. Please understand that while many experts are capable of casting spells, they don’t offer the service for many reasons. For myself, while I can cast spells, I’m not always comfortable about offering them if I feel they are being done to hurt or harm another. Actually, even when I’m not told, I usually know and will refuse to help. I just want you to remember that Karma is always out there and it can work for you or against you. How you use it is entirely your decision, but remember you made the choice when it comes back to you.

This will be the last of the articles on this subject for now, but if you have any questions or want to know more about any of these types of readings or others you may be looking at, please let me know and if I don’t know the answers I would be happy to find out the information for you from an expert in that field.

If you’ve read all of the articles and would like a reading from me in the areas I work with, please contact me and we can get started working on your future answers.
